Once you have taped the ribbon back you can go ahead and glue the last piece to your invitation. If you can see the ribbon through the piece of paper with the message then try gluing the lining and the paper with the message first tape the ribbon around both and then gluing that whole piece onto the backing. Your wedding should be something exciting fun and unforgettable. If you are planning your wedding it may become extremely stressful so dont stress out when making your own wedding invitations. Consider this as a time to play around with colors textures and shapes and sizes. Have a wedding-invitation-making party with your bridal party.
Although in prosaic terms it may be argued that the wedding invite is simply a means of announcing the names of the bride and groom (along with their lineage) the venue and time of the Nikaah in real terms the wedding invite does much more than that. Muslim wedding cards are quite traditional. One can find typical colors and designs on these wedding cards. In keeping with the religious significance green is a recurring color. Other popular colors used in Muslim marriage cards include cream gold and red. Red is an auspicious color as it represents fertility as befitting a marriage. Red on the cards is a reflection of the red of the Mehndi design on the palms of the bride. The Muslim heritage brings with it the beauty and poetry of the Mughals and the Afghans. This poetry is reflected in the Nikaahnama too. Muslim marriage cards typically carry designs that remind one of the old Mughal art.
When it comes to individuality and traditional values Muslim weddings are special in their own ways. A muslin marriage is generally known as Nikah. It is a social agreement that results in an enduring bond between two persons. A Muslim wedding means celebration joy and holy bonding. Various preparations have to be made before the auspicious day and one integral part of it is selecting Muslim wedding cards. Recently the activist couple Carl Pope (former director of Sierra Club) and Shanaz Taplin Chinoy (co-founder and chairperson of the Muslim Womens Fund) who met first time in the year 1977 got married. Both in their 60s had a grand wedding celebration.
The bride and groom certainly appreciate wedding cards that come with the gifts which they receive. A card can contain a deeply personal and emotional message which you may not have the chance to convey personally at the actual wedding reception. Besides when it is written down the message will stay with the couple for good. Most people place a great focus on choosing between the different wedding cards. The reality is that you can go for any card which is relevant to the event. It can have flowers and/or the common wedding symbols such as rings and white doves. You can also go for an artwork card with an image that conveys the message of love. In general you will not get it wrong if you stick to traditional and love images and avoid funny cards irrespective of your relationship with the couple. The big question is what to say in your card.
